Empowering humans to do more of what they’re good at….

To every permit writer who's felt a knot in their stomach reading another "AI will transform your industry" headline.

Your job isn't going away. But the worst parts of it should.

We spend our days building AI systems for permitting. And the single most important thing about this technology is that it cannot work without you. That's not a talking point. It's built that way by design.

Utility scale energy permit applications carry thousands of regulatory requirements across CFRs, guidance documents, and historical NODs/RAIs. No human holds all of that in their head. No chatbot can either — LLMs hallucinate citations, lose accuracy over long documents, and treat regulations like prose instead of structured logic. So we built something different: a neuro-symbolic system where one layer encodes the regulatory requirements as deterministic, auditable logic, and the other layer uses AI to read your documents and extract evidence with page citations.

But here's what matters most: the system requires your judgment. For a Class VI permit application, the geologist still interprets the AoR. The engineer still designs the well. The regulatory specialist still makes the calls that require experience and context. What changes is the months of manual cross-checking — hunting through documents to verify that Figure 7 actually shows what Section 4 says it shows. That's the work this accelerates.

Months to days. Not humans to zero.

The demand for people who understand CCUS and energy permitting is growing. The question is whether they have tools that can handle the scale of the problem.
